Lee Seung Ki (Lee Seung Gi)is a Korean Actor and a young male vocalist. He was born January 13, 1987 in Korea.
Lee Seung Ki made his debut in 2004 when he was still high school student. Lee is an active student at school and was the student president in his second year in Sangkye High School.
Lee Seung Ki first started music in high school as the leading vocalist of the school band. While performing with his band in a small theater in Daehagno, he was discovered by Lee Sun-hee, former singer in the late 1980’s and ‘90s. After two years of hard training, Lee Seung-gi first appeared with the song entitled “You’re My Woman.”
In the 2004 MBC Music Awards, he won the "Best New Artist" award. He also won the award for "Best Male Artist" in the 2005 MKMF Awards with his song "White lie" from his 4th album Story of Separation.
Lee Seung-gi has then expanded his career to acting, appearing in a series of television sitcom.
He appears in Shining Inheritance, Famous Princesses, and Nonstop 5.
In Shining Inheritance, he plays the role of Sun Woo Hwan, the spoiled grandson of a CEO who eventually matures with the help of Go Eun Sung (Han Hyo Joo) The drama ended July 26 with its 28th episode after two extensions.
Although busy with his entertainment work, Lee Seung Ki was able to graduate from Dongguk University within 4 years, obtaining his degree on February 20, 2009. He also received a special scholarship from the school.
