An unidentified composer has reportedly filed a complaint against the two songwriters who composed Lee Seung-gi's latest hit song `Let's Break Up''.
The accuser claimed that they infringed upon his copyright by copying a song of his that was released in 2007.
``Let's Break Up'' is on Lee Seung-gi's latest album ``Shadow'' and has topped music charts after being released in late September.
The accuser claimed that some parts of the song are the same as his song, titled ``As I Hurt My Ankle,'' and some other parts were very similar. However, the co-composers of Lee's hit are strongly denying the allegations.
The police will refer the case to the Korea Copyright Commission.
Lee Seung-gi starred in the popular SBS drama "Brilliant Legacy" and his latest digital single ``Will You Marry Me,'' which was released in June, was also a big hit.
