K-pop boy band SHINee performed in Singapore for “Oh Joonsung Drama Concert”.
SHINee became part of the tribute to Korean dramas that have spread like wildfire most particularly in Asia.
The concert was held at the Esplanade lat Feb. 1 and 2.
SHINee made popular the soundtracks from several Korean drama series written by their composer, arranger and lyricist, Oh Joonsung.
Songs like “Boys Over Flowers,” “My Girl,” “Shining Inheritance,” “My Love,” “Witch Amusement,” “The King and I,” “Get Karl! Oh Soo Jung,” “Dream,” “The Queen Returns” and “Heading for the Ground” were very popular.
Oh Joonsung directed his nine-piece band called Green Cacao, as well as a 23-piece orchestra. Oh Joonsung is a very popular Korean drama music composers whose popular works include soundtracks for “My Girl” and “Boys over Flowers.”
SHINee ended their promotion of their hit songs “Ring Ding Dong” and “Jojo” on Korean music TV programs.
In November 2009, SHINee went to the Philippines and performed at the Philippines-Korea Friendship Festival concert held at the Cultural Center of the Philippines.
